Know what the readout can—and cannot—tell you.
TalkMaestro readout metrics
TalkMaestro returns eleven schema fields representing ten distinct metric concepts. Pace and filler values begin with transcript-based measurements; the remaining scores are bounded coaching judgments. Every signal is for a better next rehearsal, not proof of real-world performance.
Overall speaking score
A summary coaching judgment for the recorded answer. It compresses several delivery and scenario-fit signals into one readout value so the speaker can choose the next rehearsal priority.
Open definition →fillerWordsFiller-word count
The number of detected filler-pattern matches in the transcript used for the readout.
Open definition →fillerRateFiller-word rate
The detected filler count divided by the transcript word count. It normalizes the raw count for take length.
Open definition →wordsPerMinuteSpeaking pace in words per minute
Transcript word count divided by the supplied recording duration in minutes, rounded to a whole-number pace signal.
Open definition →clarityClarity score
A coaching estimate of how easy the recorded answer is to follow, based on the transcript and the analysis provider's response.
Open definition →rhythmSpeaking rhythm score
A coaching signal for pace consistency and sentence flow in the recorded take.
Open definition →energySpeaking energy score
A bounded coaching judgment about momentum and delivery signal in the recorded answer; it is not a measurement of the speaker's emotion or personality.
Open definition →structureSpoken structure score
A coaching judgment of whether the answer presents an understandable opening, ordered support, interpretation and close.
Open definition →objectionHandlingObjection-handling score
A scenario-aware coaching judgment of whether the answer recognizes material concerns, tradeoffs or risks and responds to them directly.
Open definition →scriptAdherence + scriptFitScript fit and adherence score
A coaching judgment of how well the take fits the requested scenario and useful message pattern. The current local fallback writes the same value to both legacy field names.
