What we process to coach you
To provide speaking coaching, TalkMaestro processes practice recordings, transcripts, scores, and app diagnostics. Audio and transcripts are used to deliver analysis and maintain your own progress history.
Practice Studio and service providers
Browser dictation may use the speech-recognition service provided by your browser. When a transcript is already available, the Studio sends that text for coaching without uploading the recording. When you request recorded feedback without a transcript, audio is sent to OpenAI or the existing Replicate transcription service for transcription and text is sent through OpenCode to DeepSeek for coaching. Live voice streams audio to OpenAI. Personal preparation briefs and roleplay answers are processed through OpenCode by DeepSeek. These providers process data under their own service terms and privacy policies.
Uploaded recordings are temporarily validated on our server and the temporary copy is removed after validation. Browser playback recordings stay in the current browser session. Readout transcripts, feedback, preparation plans and completion history are saved to your account. Your browser answer bank is stored locally and can be removed within the Studio.
Live voice transcripts in the web Studio remain on the current page and are not saved as scored readouts. We keep account usage counts and provider token counts to enforce allowances and manage costs. Do not include confidential information that you are not authorized to share.

Your choices: support, export, deletion
You can request support, data export, or deletion through the support page. Requests are handled in CodeHub support.
For export or deletion, use Help & support and write Export or Delete in your request.
